Yes, yes I did. It’s not something I’m proud of, and it’s not something I show off; but if someone asks me about it, whether out of concern or interest, I’m willing to talk about it providing the situation is appropriate. The problem is, some people cannot seem to judge when it’s not a good time to ask. There is nothing worse than being asked about the scars on your arm at a dinner table full of your classmates. I thought that people would be aware of this, but apparently lots of people are not. So I made a helpful diagram.
Also, if anyone EVER needs to talk you can ask me (anon or not) or if you send me your email we can talk that way. Honestly, I don’t know if my advice will be good, but at least I will listen.
